Fusion (gameplay prototype)

“Fusion” is a detective musical game. The player acts as a detective who are searching a suspect. He got information that the suspect is hiding in a jazz bar. The player has to find the suspect in the dark bar before the music ends, without interrupting the concert. Depending on the music signs and audience reaction, player could analyze the suspect's path and turn on the light, the suspect will be found if he is in the lighting zone.

Inspiration:

"Fusion" is inspired by a jazz concert, during which the most impressive part was, how the musicians dialogue between them by delivering solo improvisation and finding back together. Meanwhile, since all was harmonious, it was a great enjoyment for audience.

Core gameplay:
​
The core of "Fusion"is so dialog: the suspect moves in the the dark. The dialog between the musicians (so the music) will give signs of suspect direction and distance. When suspect will have passed by, the audience will react. By listening to the music and observing the reaction of audience, player searches the suspect by lighting on lamps.
