Pix the Cat is an indie arcade game designed and developed by Pastagames for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows,
Linux and PlayStation Vita. The game stars the cat Pix as he saves ducklings in a maze-like environment. On February 2017, Pix the Cat released on XBOX ONE.

During my internship at Neko Entertainment, I created 7 exclusive levels of ARENA (local PVP mode) for the XBOX ONE version of Pix the Cat.
Targeting at the hardcore arcade player, each level were focused on one or two main mechanics, and were designed to push them to extreme. Meanwhile, each level had a theme, both gameplay and art were designed to support it.

* Gameplay brief:
- In each round, the last survival wins. The first player who win 3 rounds gets the final victory.
Main mechanic:
-The egg is the bullet. Collect the eggs as the stock of ammo then shoot or dash.
-Three kinds of egg: White, Green and Purple. The white ones are normal eggs, just for dashing. The green ones are mines, which the purple ones are missiles.
-The cuvre walls can rotate the missiles.
